Baltimore Penn Station Navigation
Baltimore Penn Station has a single main entrance on Charles Street (the south side, facing Mount Vernon) and a secondary entrance on St. Paul Street. After the recent renovation, the historic Beaux-Arts headhouse is the recommended entry point.

Restored 1911 Beaux-Arts entrance with the iconic clock tower. Power-assisted doors and the renovated waiting hall directly behind.
St. Paul Street
St. Paul Street, east side of the stationBest for: Quick access to Light Rail platform and rideshare pickup
Less crowded. Most rideshare drops happen on this side. Walk east a few feet for Charm City Circulator Purple Route stop.
Platforms & Tracks
Baltimore Penn has 4 platforms serving Amtrak (upper-level platforms) and MARC (same platforms, different trains). Light RailLink uses surface tracks immediately east of the building. Track assignments post on the boards in the main waiting room.

Washington, D.C. (Union Station)
MARC Penn Line: ~1 hour, $9 one-way. Trains every 30–60 min weekdays. Dramatically cheaper than Amtrak ($25+).
BWI Airport
Light RailLink south to Linthicum (~25 min), then free BWI shuttle to terminals (~10 min). Or rideshare ($30–40, faster).
Inner Harbor
Charm City Circulator Purple Route (free!) stops at the station and runs to Inner Harbor (~15 min). Or Light Rail south.
Camden Yards (Orioles) / M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens)
Light RailLink south to Camden Yards stop (~15 min). Game day service runs more frequently.
Mount Vernon / Walters Art Museum
Walk: 5 min south on Charles Street. The neighborhood has excellent restaurants and is well-lit at night.
Philadelphia / New York
Amtrak Acela or Northeast Regional. ~1h 15min to Philadelphia, ~2h 30min to NYC.
