At Newark: Newark Penn is one stop from NY Penn on the Northeast Corridor — about 18 minutes. The Raritan Valley Line also originates here.

Tip: NJ Transit posts track assignments only ~10 minutes before departure at NY Penn Station. The DepartureVision website and app show this info at the same time as the station boards — useful if you're grabbing food in Moynihan and want to monitor your track from your phone.
PATH Train
At Newark: Newark Penn is the western terminus of PATH's Newark–World Trade Center line. Trains run every 10–15 min during peak hours.
Official schedules for all PATH routes: Newark–World Trade Center, Journal Square–33rd Street, Hoboken–33rd Street, and Hoboken–World Trade Center.

Tip: The 33rd St PATH station (6th Ave & 33rd St) is 2 blocks from NY Penn Station — a useful backup route to New Jersey if NJ Transit is disrupted.
